Archbishop's Palace - Mdina
- Original built in the 14th century and rebuilt in 1722. Located brtween the Cathedral and the Cathedral Museum.
- Used to be the residence of the Archbishop of Malta, who now lives in the Valletta Archbishops Palace

Herald's Loggia - Mdina
This is where the town crier announced the "bandi" new laws, warrants of arrest etc. The "bandi" are important sources of information about life in Malta, and are kept in the Cathedral museum.
Howard Gardens - Mdina
- Howard Gardens are one of the largest public gardens in Malta.
- Lots of trees flower beds, wide pathways and bench seating.
- A childrens playground at the eastern end with a cafe kiosk.

Greek's Gate & Magazine Street - Mdina
- An ornate gateway into Mdina
- Handy entrance if you arrive by car because there is a car park immediatly on the outside that stretches around the outside of the Bastion.
- There is a small cafe, Magpie Kiosk next to the outer ditch wall & the road tunnel. The cafe has outside tables & chairs.
- There is also an entrance to the ditch gardens walkway, from the car park.

- Greek's Gate is located in the Mdina Ditch on the southern Mdina Walls near the western side & next to the Bastion.
- Entrance to the ditch is by either
- A ramp that descends from the roundabout at the junction of streets: Triq San Pawl, Wesgħa tal-Mużew & Triq tal-Mużew.
- Then through a short Tunnel under the wide walkway on the outside of the Ditch outer wall.
Mdina Dungeons
A gruesome visit to the old dungeons where scenes of torture and imprisonment are depicted by life size figures in period costume.

Museum of Natural History - Palazzo Vilhena - Mdina
Originally the Palazzo Giurratale. After the 1693 earthquake it was reconstructed in a fabulous baroque style for the Grandmaster Vilhena. When rebuilt the palace was enlarged and the Mdina Gate had to be moved a few metres.

Palazzo Santa Sophia - Mdina

Palazzo Gatto Murina - Mdina
- One of the earliest buildings built by the Sicilian Normans around 1100 - 1530.
- The Palazzo now houses “Tales of the Silent City” an audio visual show
Signal Tower of the Standard; Torre dello Standardo - Mdina
- The tower was part of a system Watch Towers located around Malta & Gozo. Alarm was raised by lighting a fire. Towers were arranged so that each had at least 2 other towers in line of site.
- Now the tower is home to a small Tourist Office. The tow er is located a few metres inside the main Mdina Gate on the left. Opposite the Vilhena Palace (Palazz Vilhena)
